全能の神ゼウスと人間との間に生まれた“半神”の男ヘラクレス。矢を跳ね返す不死身のライオンや多頭の蛇ヒュドラ、エリュマントス山の巨大猪など恐ろしい魔物を倒す12の功業を果たした後、傭兵にまで身をやつしていた彼が、古代ギリシャの悪を倒すために仲間とともに立ち上がる。超人的な力と人間の心を併せ持つ彼の真の姿が描かれる…。
