マザーレス・ブルックリン (原題)

1950年代のニューヨーク。孤児院にいた少年ライオネルは私立探偵のフランクに引き取られ成長する。ライオネルはトゥレット障害を抱えていたが、フランクが彼に頭の使いかたを学ばせ、強みへと変えてくれた。やがて、ライオネルはフランクの下で私立探偵として働くようになるが、居場所を与えてくれたフランクが何者かに射殺されてしまう……。
