猿の惑星：創世記（ジェネシス）

現代のサンフランシスコの研究者が、猿の遺伝子操作をする実験でアルツハイマーの新薬を発見する。世紀の発明ではあったが思わぬ副作用を生み、一匹の猿シーザーが人間並みの知能を持ってしまう。
シーザーは人と同じような愛情や思いやりを持つのだが、深い悲しみも感じ初める…。
