ウォルト・ディズニーの約束

1964年に公開されたミュージカル映画「メリー・ポピンズ」。その映画化を拒み続けた原作者パメラ・トラヴァースと、娘の愛読書の映画化のためトラヴァースを長期に渡って説得したウォルト･ディズニーが描かれる。ウォルトは、トラヴァースが映画化を渋る訳が幼い頃の彼女と父親の関係にあると知り、製作続行をかけて彼女にある約束をする…。
