80年前、車を運転中に大変な事故に遭いながらも一命を取り留めたアダライン。29歳の彼女はこれを機に歳を取らなくなってしまう。時は現在へと移り、秘密を抱えながら何年も孤独に過ごしてきたアダラインは、ひとりの素敵な青年エリスと恋に落ちる。やがて彼女はエリスの両親に会うことになるが、彼の父ウィリアムは過去に会った男性と知る…。
