ザ・ビーチ・バム (原題)

フロリダ州マイアミが舞台。麻薬常習犯で詩人のムーンドッグは、奇抜なファッションで身を包み自由気ままに人生を謳歌している。かつて出版した詩集が大成功を収めたものの、その後は富豪である妻ミニーの財力に頼り、酒、ドラッグ、セックスに溺れた放蕩生活を続けていた。そんなムーンドッグが新作を出さなければいけない状況に陥いってしまう…。
