ザ・マシーン

中国と西側諸国が冷戦状態に陥った近未来。イギリス国防省は科学者のヴィンセントにアンドロイドの開発を依頼する。それは人間を凌駕する肉体と情報処理能力を有したが、制御不能で研究は暗礁に乗りかけていた。そんな折、中国側の暗殺者に命を狙われた助手アヴァが重傷を負い、彼はやむを得ず彼女の脳のデータをアンドロイドに移植する…。
