ドキュメンタリー映画の監督であるジョシュと妻コーネリアの40代の夫婦は、倦怠期にあり中年夫婦の危機を迎えていた。ある日そんな彼らが、今どきの若い20代の夫婦ジェイミーとダービーと出会う。いまを気の向くまま自由に生きる若夫婦と親交を深めはじめたジョシュとコーネリアは、自分たちが忘れかけていたものを取り戻そうと発奮する…。
