婚約中の女性アレックスと外科医のベンは、悪天候で飛行機が欠航となり空港で足止めをくっていた。二人は偶然、同じ目的地に向かうチャーター機に乗り合わせるが、操縦士が心臓麻痺で急死し飛行機は雪山に墜落してしまう。彼らは重い怪我を負いながらも雪山に投げ出されることに。やがて極寒の雪山をサバイバルする二人に恋が芽生え始め…。
