誰のせいでもない

カナダのモントリオール郊外。車を走らせていた作家のトマスは、飛び出してきた何かに驚き急ブレーキをかける。車の前には虚ろに座り込んでいる幼い少年がいた。少年に怪我はなかったがトマスが家まで送ると、母親ケイトは息子を見て半狂乱に……。この事故が起きたことで、トマスや恋人のサラなど1人の男と3人の女の人生を変えてしまう…。
